Frequently Asked
Primary renters must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID. Riders 18+ may operate with a signed waiver and valid Michigan boater safety certificate.
Rider Rules
- 01Operators must be 18+ with valid ID and a Michigan boater safety certificate where required by law.
- 02No alcohol or drugs before or during your ride. Operating under the influence is illegal and ends your rental immediately with no refund.
- 03Life vests must be worn at all times by every person on the ski.
- 04Stay within the agreed-upon ride area. GPS-tracked skis that leave the zone may be remotely throttled.
- 05No jumping wakes within 100 feet of another vessel, swimmer, or dock.
- 06Maximum 3 riders or 600 lbs per WaveRunner.
- 07Renter is responsible for any damage caused by negligence, reckless operation, or violation of these rules.
- 08Return the ski on time. Late returns are billed at 1.5× the hourly rate.
- 09Listen to your captain's briefing — it covers throttle, reverse, re-boarding, and emergency procedures.
- 10Have fun, ride smart, and respect other boaters on the water.
